Focus: Learning strategies to create continued proficiency in UNDERSTANDING NUMBERS. 

Grade 1-2 students aim to deepen their comprehension of numerical concepts and build a strong foundation in mathematics. 

• Counting Routines: counting forwards, backwards, by ones, twos, fives, and tens. 
• Number Identification: reinforce recognizing and writing numbers up to 200.
• Number Value: subitizing, decomposing #’s, number lines, place values.
• Operations: basic addition and subtraction facts within 20.
• Critical Thinking: logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
